Home Depot Center; a 27,000 seat state-of-the-art soccer stadium in Southern California, is home to Chivas USA and opened in June 2003. It is located on the campus of California State University-Dominquez Hills sitting on 125 acres along with 9 soccer fields, 30 tennis courts including a tennis stadium seating 13,000 people, a track & field facility seating 20,000 people and a 3-mile jogging track with 12 fitness stations. It is a designated Olympic training venue and has hosted national and international, professional and amateur events. Not only does it serve soccer, track & field and the Andre Agassi Tennis Academy but also cycling, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball and baseball.

Tickets for soccer are $15 general admission up to $100 for field seats. For $1,440, the Corporate Corner Patio seats 20-30 people with an ‘all you can eat’ set up or choose from a special menu for an additional cost. You will have a Chivas USA corporate representative to help give your people the “royal treatment”. You can also use this as a ‘perk’ for the most productive employees. This primarily outdoor venue will require that you prepare wisely with your San Diego hat, Yves St. Lauren sunglasses and Shady Day sunscreen.

The Empire Polo Club is not just a polo club but a unique special events venue in the sunny Southern California desert. Located in Indio just south of Palm Springs, it is a place of ‘elegant fun in the sun’. Two kinds of polo can be seen here; horseback polo but also for the whimsy factor, golf cart polo. Polo was once played only by royalty and is a fast action game with the need for complete trust between horse and rider. A fast paced game of skill, both the human and equine athletes must be in good shape. Players use multiple horses during one game. When the game is finished the beautiful Club facilities can be used for parties, weddings or any special event. Because this was the “Sport of Kings” the facilities are elegant, classical and will make you feel like royalty.

The Forum is a 48,000sf clear span superstructure surrounded by a lush green field of grass and palm trees. At the highest point it stands 5 stories high with rollup doors that open it up to the sunny outside. A circular drive brings you to the front where a valet may attend to your car. Whether used for a trade show or a very special event the versatility is amazing. Medjhool Lake is ten acres of lush gardens with a tropical lakeside reception area including 24,000sf of event space. The Rose Garden is composed of 17,000 rose bushes, fountains, statuary and three gazebos. Hacienda El Toro is 16,000sf of covered and uncovered gardens and terraces with a circular drive entrance and valet attendants. Additional amenities available are; use of any vehicle from a fleet of antique cars, horse and carriage, specialty chairs, tables, linens, potted live foliage, white arched canopies, stages, lighting or whatever you might need for a special sporting event, business function or party. Sport with style!

The Will Rogers Polo Club is located on the original Will Roger’s ranch in Pacific Palisades, which has been a state park since 1944. This is the last polo club in Los Angeles County; where in the 1930’s there were over 25 fields. Many famous members of the Hollywood elite, in Will Rogers’s time, played polo here including David Niven, Spencer Tracy, Darryl Zanuck, Walt Disney and Clark Gable. The season here runs from April until the Championships in October. Most of the players board their horses elsewhere and trailer to the ranch for games. When the ranch became a state park the stipulation was that it remain an equestrian site. Westside Riding School conducts riding lessons here. This is still a working ranch and visitors can tour the house and outbuildings that are maintained just as they were in Will Rogers time. It is also used by charitable organizations for fund raising and they have a great deal of experience in doing this well. In the past groups have raised from $65K to $5M after expenses. That ain’t hay folks!
