Resorts of the Caribbean | Suntan Travel fun under the Sun

The Caribbean Sea is almost entirely surrounded by more than 7,000 islands and is located north of South America east of Central America and southeast of Northern America and the Gulf of Mexico. Christopher Columbus actually landed here in 1492 and thought he was in Asia. These islands are called the West Indies. The West Indies are comprised of twenty-seven territories including overseas departments, dependencies and sovereign states. The spoken language here is predominantly Spanish, English, French, Dutch, Haitian Creole and Papiamento. Believe it or not, the Caribbean has variable changes in weather, but even the winters are warm. It’s a sun-filled tropical getaway for sure. The rainfall is conditioned upon elevation, size and water currents. The tradewinds are moist and warm and blow from the east. The sea itself hosts migratory fish, turtles and coral reef formations. We have put together some ideas for you when traveling to the Caribbean for your next suntan.
