The Greenbrier can be found nestled in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains in White Sulphur Springs. The Greenbrier was built in 1778 and became famous for the healing waters. The resort hotel is very grand with fine service and amenities such as afternoon tea & concert. Guests of the Greenbrier may choose the features they would like out of their guest room such as a private porch, wet bar, wood burning fireplace, a single room or up to a four bedroom estate house and seven bedroom suites. The resort offers so many activities for the visitors like golf, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, swimming in the indoor or outdoor pools, tennis, billiards, croquet, fishing, shopping and much more. If total relaxation is on your mind, then head to the spa. The spa uses mineral based products indigenous to the area and focuses on therapeutic treatments for the guest’s revitalization.

The Greenbrier has luxury SUV’s available for guests to go off-road on a course that goes all through the resort’s 6,500 acre mountain estate. (What a great novel idea!) The Greenbrier has hosted twenty-six Presidents and has archives containing documents dating back to the very early history of the resort. Be sure to visit The Presidents’ Cottage Museum, which is a two story building overlooking the Springhouse and check out all the history.
