Renaissance Cleveland Hotel was built in 1918 and is located downtown Cleveland close to Lake Erie. The lobby has vaulted ceilings, high arched windows and a gorgeous marble fountain. This very beautiful and most impressive remodeled hotel has 441 guest rooms, 50 suites and 37 meeting rooms with a total of 62,000 square feet. Every one of these well-appointed guest quarters have bathrobes, luxurious bedding including down comforters, custom duvets and cotton-rich linens. The Sans Souci is a Mediterranean dinner restaurant that was voted “Best Restaurant in Cleveland” by Zagat Surveys and “Best French Restaurant” by Cleveland Magazine in 2008. Brasserie offers American fare for breakfast and lunch. The House of Blues is close to the hotel and features southern-inspired cuisine like Voodoo Shrimp and Tennessee Baby Back Ribs.

Also within site of the hotel is the Hard Rock Café which serves American food and is like a museum with Rock & Roll memorabilia decorating the restaurant – really cool! Cleveland Magazine name Morton’s Steakhouse as “Best Steak” in 2008 and it’s just around the corner from the hotel also. The hotel has an indoor pool and sauna, hiking & jogging/fitness trail; and close by there’s bowling, jet-skiing, biking trail, kayaking, sailing and squash. There are some wonderful sites to see in Cleveland, including the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Great Lakes Science Center, the Progressive Field Cleveland Indians Baseball, the Cleveland Zoo & Rain Forest and so much more.
