Frenchlick Springs Hotel Resort got its beginning in 1845 and attracted guests from all over the world to try the “miracle waters” in its nearby springs. Today this definitive hotel still lives up to its famous charm and great impressiveness. The resort hotel is surrounded by the Hoosier National Forest in the great state of Indiana. The closest city is Louisville at about 70 minutes drive north however the resort is less than a half day’s drive from most Midwestern cities. It is almost to the boarders of Illinois and Kentucky. There are trail rides, pony rides for the smaller children and carriage rides for the entire family offered by the staff at the riding stables. French Lick features 443 guest rooms and suites for the comfort of their guests. The resort’s pool complex contains an indoor and an outdoor pool with a hot tub. Accommodations await visitors with needs of a business meeting or perhaps a personal event. There are three golf courses located here including the site for the 2010 PGA Professionals National Championship.



This Peter Dye course is a very scenic course as it was cut into the hillsides. The Donald Ross course was originally built in 1917 and has been the site for many national and regional tournaments. The nine-hole conversion golf course from the original 18-hole Tom Bendelow Valley Links course and is adjacent to the hotel. The hotel provides shuttle service to and from the stables and golf courses. The 1875 Steakhouse is a casual fine dining experience that adds some uniqueness to comfort food. One of the house specialties is a baked lobster macaroni and cheese. The hotel also has the Promenade Shoppes, “just for kids” events, historic tours, a spa and fitness center and a twenty-four hour casino.
